Adventures in Taiwan

Updated: Feb 8, 2022

Working as a travel writer for Taiwan’s Tourism Bureau is quite literally, my dream job. I am sent around the island to explore fascinating destinations, participate in outdoor activities, and best of all, to learn about more about my cultural heritage and roots. I started writing for “Travel in Taiwan” when I lived in Taipei 10 years ago, and am over the moon to once more have this opportunity. Here are my adventures thus far:

Kayaking in Fulong Beach: Read the article here

Taidong: Home to the world’s longest international hot air balloon festival

Fenglin: Taiwan’s First “Slow City”

Pingtung: Organic and sustainable farming

Pingtung: Tribal villages and the Indigenous Culture Park

Flyboarding on Taiwan’s Northeast Coast

Standup Paddleboarding

Paddleboarding to the Twin Candlestick Islets
